Around 400 million metric tons of plastics was produced in 2018, representing a 5 percent increase over 2017.

 

Recovery and recycling remain insufficient, and millions of tons of plastics end up in landfills and oceans each year.

Approximately 10–20 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans each year. A recent study conservatively estimated that 5.25 trillion plastic particles weighing a total of 268,940 tons are currently floating in the world’s oceans.

And since plastic being a non-biodegradable material it remains into the soil, thereby polluting the environment.

OUR SOLUTION

Our Project deals with the extraction of Pyrolysis Oil from the waste plastics and other watses and other waste termed as Pyrolysis oil which can be marketed at much cheaper rates compared to that present in the market.

Pyrolysis process becomes an option of waste-to-energy technology to deliver bio-fuel to replace fossil fuel.

 

We are a Green start-up based on a circular economy based in the Green City Bangalore,

 

Using a process of thermal conversion of waste plastic and tyres in the complete absence of oxidizing agent (air/oxygen), or with such limited supply that gasification does not occur to any appreciable extent with Thermochemical Depolymerization Technology.

The Oil thus produced can be used for industrial boilers, generators and a host of other equipment.

 

This Oil is preferable over that available in the market due to its relatively low costs, lower Sulphur emissions and ease of availability.
